Junichi Shimizu is a professor of Chiba Faculty of Nursing, Tokyo Healthcare University, and a Registered Nurse & Public Health Nurse.
I received my B.S. from the School of Health Sciences & Nursing, The University of Tokyo in 1996, and my M.S. degrees in Health Sciences from The University of Tokyo in 2002.
I have taught undergraduate courses in nursing studies. I’ve given several lectures to graduate students of Certified Nursing Specialist in home care nursing since 2006 and nursing research course since 2005 in Tokyo Metropolitan University.
My recent academic interests are 1) policy making of home-care nursing, especially, optimizing provision of visiting nursing using geographic information system(GIS), 2) the influence of advanced medical technology (e.g. living donor liver transplatation) on the life of the patients, their families and their community.
